Peppermint Bark

Make festive Peppermint Bark with dark chocolate and candy canes. This easy, 3-ingredient treat is perfect for the holidays and makes a great gift!

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz Dark Chocolate
  • 24 Mini Candy Canes about 10g
  • ½ tsp Vegetable Oil

Instructions
 

  • Finely chop the dark chocolate.

  • Crush the mini candy canes into small pieces using a rolling pin or food processor.
    24 Mini Candy Canes
  • In a double boiler, slowly melt the chocolate with vegetable oil, stirring occasionally until smooth and shiny.
    12 oz Dark Chocolate, ½ tsp Vegetable Oil
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared sheet and spread it evenly to your desired thickness.
  • Sprinkle the crushed candy canes on top of the chocolate.
  • Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden and set.
  • Once the bark has set, cut it into pieces and store in an airtight container.
